Guardian Security Portal

Guardian Security Portal

The Guardian Security Portal is a unification of SaaS based applications which allow for complete monitoring, notification, auditing and reporting of the security status and health of all IT assets in an organization. It includes Guardian Firewall Analyzer, Guardian Windows Auditor, Guardian Event-Log Analyzer and Guardian Security Scanner. The Guardian Security Portal is also avaible to Security Confidence Partners as a bradable solution for complete monitoring of customer networks.

Guardian Firewall Analyzer

Guardian Firewall Analyzer is the solution for identifying and tracking all pertinent information for all communications in and out of your network. Developed specifically to address reporting, monitoring, and alerting for Unified Threat Management (UTM) devices such as Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls, this remotely hosted application provides depth which no other single application is capable of producing. From custom reports to alerts and monitoring, the Guardian Firewall Analyzer is capable of detecting trends in your internet usage and provides holistic tracking of attacks against your network.

All that is needed to use the system is an Internet Browser and a supported UTM appliance. No additional hardware, software, licensing, or hardware maintenance is needed. Guardian Firewall Analyzer is a unification of several components including a log archival system, an alerting engine, a reporting engine, a health check engine, and dynamic DNS services.

Guardian Windows Auditor

The Guardian Windows Auditor is a remotely hosted asset tracking, inventory, and patch identification service. The service provides detailed information regarding the hardware, software, configuration information, and missing security patches of your Windows Workstations and Servers. This service relieves the burden, time, and resources required in performing many types of network, system, and security audits.

The application is deployed through a small client application which audits a Windows based PC/Server once a day or on demand. The information is then securely transferred to the Guardian Portal where numerous reports and alerts can be reviewed. Guardian Windows Auditor records detailed information from each of the following five categories: Hardware, Software, OS Settings, Services, Users & Groups, and missing MS Windows Security Patches. The application further provides the ability to add non-Windows assets such as routers, firewalls, and printers for complete network asset tracking.

Guardian Event Log Analyzer

The Guardian Event Log Analyzer is an easy solution to the burden of reviewing logged events on Windows™ based servers, workstations, and other network based devices. The service provides centralized reporting, alerting, and monitoring for your entire network.

Comprehensive event monitoring, until recently, has been an expensive and time consuming activity for system administrators. However, the benefits of inexpensively being able to monitor a range of event log records, and use them to alert on and report on system activities enables a whole new range of security related services and system health information to be available at your convenience.

All to frequently impending major disasters are recorded into the Windows™ Event Viewer, but go unnoticed because those logs are only sporadically checked by the computer users or administrators. Guardian Event Log Analyzer relieves the burden of having to check every log individually for each device on your network. Moreover, the service takes over the role of checking each event log in real time by evaluating the importance of each logged event and alerting administrators via a rule based notification system.

Guardian Security Scanner

The Guardian Security Scanner identifies if your firewall or an application has left your network vulnerable to attackers or malicious programs. Created specifically to rattle the doors and windows of your network, Guardian Security Scanner will discover if you are vulnerable to an attack.

The service provides security testing of your Internet connection through an on-demand or reoccurring schedule. Guardian Security Scanner utilizes a database of over 10,000 known vulnerabilities that allow an outsider to tamper with an organization’s network. By analyzing what types of applications and firewall configurations are installed on your network, the Guardian Security Scanner is able to notify you of vulnerabilities that exist before they are exploited.
